McGrath, you are right. It is a hallmark of smug sanctity, and that is both a Liberal and Conservative trait, the farther toward the extreme boundaries, the stronger the strain. This particular argument is a manifestation of the Liberal end of the spectrum of sanctimony.
I get Bobert. I grew up in Kentucky and I'll bet we had at least as many Rebel-flag-tattoo-wearin shit-kickers in my hometown as Bob did. I know what he's talking about, and that's why I said I wouldn't fly that flag or condone it. It has been appropriated by a crowd of gutless morons who have rendered it a symbol of hate.
