A little bit of a thread drift here, but maybe someone who knows can offer some insight?

I'm aware the dairy industry is cruel, but I love cheese.

Lately I've been eating less cows milk products (I swap dairy yoghourt and milk products for soya) but I love cheese and soya stuff is no good.

I wonder if sheep and goat milk cheeses and other products, are less cruel than average equivalent cow milk products?
Just thinking that the farming industry for sheep and goat milk, will be much smaller, and thus perhaps less likely to be abusive?
