The word "delegates" appears in the post I was quoting from. I had nothing to do with putting that word in there. I was just repeating it.

It was the poster's inappropriate us of the term "Democrat" that I was pointing out. The way the poster was using the word "Democrat" is the equivalent of someone saying "Republic" instead of "Republican".

This is how Claymore's post should have read...

"And the former Democratic Speaker of the House of Delegates begged the Republicans not to treat them as the Dems had done the Republicans in the previous 40 years."
