I listened to the New Directions in Folk Music CD, and I'd make just one change:

Let's not pretend that we're lovers
Meeting in some dim café.
Let's not pretend there aren't others
Making love the same silly way

The song also appears on the Coming Attraction: Live! album, but the New Directions recording is much better.
Good song. Not folk, but a good song. Far more thoughtful than The Mamas and The Papas. Oh, and there's a very nice, torchy recording by Martha Bassett
