Rick - Hmmm....must've been someone else, Rick. I'm not going to worry about it, I can't see what harm a kilt picture will do, and it's fun to try on a new image.Carol - Yes, I've read the Seth material, a long time ago. I've also read some superb stuff by Shirley MacLaine and the Neale Donald Walsh (Conversations With God) books, and a ton of other stuff. I have good company on the reincarnation thing...Tina Turner, Willie Nelson, and Johnny Cash, for instance, are strong believers in reincarnation, and so are a great many other people of great accomplishment...you'd be surprised who...or maybe you wouldn't.
Previous lives aren't actually "previous", they just seem that way when you're in a physical life, because you're moving through time consciousness. When you're in spirit you don't see it that way...it all becomes simultaneous.
If your present life is full of challenge, that's because that's the way you set it up. It's not punishment, it's opportunity.
The psych ward? Hell, I know about that. I once got so depressed over a crazy girlfriend who was playing the most outrageous mind games on me (and everyone else) that I voluntarily entered said psych ward for a month. It was a hell of an interesting experience. The medical community places far too much reliance on drugs, and not enough on plain old natural common sense. That is very evident in a psych ward. Drugs are a blind alley. A month was all I needed, and I walked out of there with a better understanding. Half the people in there were less crazy than half the people on the outside, frankly. Then again, some of them really were crazy.
Reincarnation is a good thing to know about...it provides hope and a sense of purpose, and explains a lot of things. It also encourages compassion and forgiveness.
LJC - I need to work on my Scottish doggerel...could you list 30 or 40 of the handiest Scottish words and phrases...I would be much obliged.
Cheers!
