It's a song entitled "So it Goes" by Wes Cunningham. It's from his 1999 album entitled "12 Ways to Win People to Your Way of Thinking." I was just trying to find the lyrics for this song and typed in "Vaya con dios.." I didn't find the lyrics in my search, but your post here came up. Thought I'd answer it, (even though by now you've probably found the answer...)
