Just a quick note for now as I'm still coming to terms with the shock. Mary was my partner for nearly 30 years I got her into hospital the Sunday before last. We both expected that she would only be in for two or three days while some tests were undertaken. She deteriorated very quickly and eventually died peacefully at 8 o'clock yesterday morning while I was with her. I will be making the funeral arrangements over the next few days and will try to get the details to people who are interested in attending.
