I like lentil stew. Lentils, celery, onions, carrots, L'il Smokies Sausages... ok, make that non-meat sausages (although I've never seen a face on a sausage), garlic, salt, pepper, other seasonings you like (I usually do rosemary, thyme, ans sage) then top with a bit of EV olive oil before serving. Very hearty on a cold night.
Tempeh (soy with seeds and things) is chewier than standard tofu, and is good with stir-fried or roasted veggies.
You want pesto? I got pesto, from my very own organic basil, frozen in single serving ice cubes. You need to add EV olive oil and Italian hard cheese of your choice, and tweak the flavors to your liking, but other than that, it's ready to go. I'll bring some up when I come for Seamus Kennedy's house concert.
