Tasty meat substitute, high in protein (includes essential amino acids). Expensive when we could find it in US, but nice treat from time to time.
Some more food ideas.
1. Mushroom and chestnut dish + sweet chestnuts, roasted, chopped fine + portabella and chestnut mushrooms, chopped bake in casserole dish for 25 minutes @ 180C / 350F
2. Yams, with ground cinnamon (butter optional)
3. Veg medley + diced carrots + sweet corn + soya bean steam, sprinkle fresh ground black pepper and pat of butter
4. Rumblethumps + potatoes and swede boiled, partly mashed + cabbage shredded and steamed + chopped onion, diced and steamed + white cheddar cheese shredded put all above in buttered casserole dish, save some cheese to sprinkle on top, bake 25 to 30 minutes @ 200C / 400F
5. Hot spiced apples + peeled and cored apple slices saute in butter and cinnamon, top with chopped walnuts or pecans
6. Tomato, basil pasta bake + Chopped fresh plum tomatoes or tinned napolena + Chopped sundried tomatoes (justa few for extra flavor) + washed chopped fresh basil + pine nuts (careful the Chinese ones can leave several day long metallic after taste) + Ricotta + cooked pasta + mozzarella sliced or shredded if you want cheese mix all above in big bowl, pour over boiled pasta of choice, tip into olive oil greased casserole, cover with cheese and bake @ 190C or 375F for about 25 minutes. If you don't want cheese, cover dish with foil to prevent pasta dry out.
