Many happy memories of Mary from the Manchester area folk clubs of the late 60s - early 70s. Phil and I booked her many times at The Bush on Market Street, Hyde. After her gig, we'd take her to the International Club in Manchester for a pint and a plate of Lazlo's goulash - which Mary paid for with her gig money! An enormous talent, and a lovely person. Rest in Peace, old friend. xxx
