Whew! Just got notification of my Secret Santee from Liz, which reminded me I haven't posted my hints for this year! There's not a whole lot of change since last year, but here goes anyhow:

1. What is your age range? Let's just say I'm retired, and take advantage of senior citizen discounts at every opportunity...

2. Gender? Female (how many males do you know named "Nancy"?

3. Do you have a favorite color? Love purple, and also earth tones, other than orange.

4. Favorite authors/type of book? Mysteries, thrillers, historical fiction. Big Patrick O'Brian fan -- but I already have all of his, plus a biography (thanks to a previous Secret Santa!). Love recorded books! Song books are great, as are cookbooks.

5. What books have you really been wanting? As a retired public librarian, I'm pretty well able to find whatever I want...

6. What type of music do you like? Most folk music, especially anything with good harmony.

7. What CDs have you really been wanting? Yours!

8. What movies have you been wanting? (specify VHS if you don't have a DVD player) Don't watch movies much...

9. What is your t-shirt size? Large, but I'd just as soon pick out my own, thanks...

10. Do you collect anything? if so, what? Other than dust bunnies, you mean? Well, Springbok jigsaw puzzles, funny wind-up toys, pictures of my grandson...

11. What are some of your other hobbies? Embroidery, puzzles, gardening (as opposed to yard work), cooking.

12. Do you prefer gold-tone or silver-tone jewelry? Gold-tone

13. Please include anything else you feel is important that would help your Secret Santa know what you would like. Hmm -- can't think of much else to say, other than that anything typical of your own corner of the world would be lovely! And if you're from the UK, I crave a Kendal Mint Cake!

14. Remember that "negative hints" such as allergies might also be helpful. No allergies, unless you were planning to send sulfa drugs...
