Where Did The Days Go? (A celebration of the work of the late Sam Starrett) 18th November 2009@ 8pm, Playhouse Theatre

"Sam Starrett passed away on the 5th March 2007. Sam was a musician, songwriter, playwright, community activist, historian and, above all, a warm, gentle and humorous man. In his memory, contemporary singer/songwriters and actors will gather to celebrate his rich legacy of songs and stories. Featured artists will include, Eilidh Patterson, Mary Dillon, Richard Laird, Roy Arbuckle, Paddy Nash, Eamon Friel, Dave Duggan, Jim Lecky and Sam's partner, Tracey McRory. Together with Sam's family and friends they have put together a wide ranging programme capturing the essence of the man: his community, his humour, his beliefs and his love.
