Poor old ED is getting wasted,
Full of stress and deep dejection
In the kitchen, he got basted
Wearing tinfoil for protection!

Mrs. Brown was awful sorry,
Helped him clean the greasy stuff.
Said "I thought you was a turkey!"
Missus Ed said, "Not far off...".

Ed got mad and cried in fury,
Whirled on Missus Ed and faced her,
"Just for that, until the New Year,
"You can use the turkey baster."

Missus Ed replied, "Oh, really?"
"You may claim you have just cause."
"But I'm really not too worried.
I'll make do with Santa Claus."
