Whenver ne of my uncles (who was Scottish)came home from sea in the 50's/60's would go the pub and having imbibed a skinful would return home singing the following song which had a number of verses and which he called the train song. I can only remember the following -

Whenever you're travelling in a train
Never look out the window-pane
For I did it myself and it was to my regret.

The chappie who sat next to me
Asked me if I'd look and see
If the train had started yet

Well I looked out the window and my cap it blew away
I made a grab for it but to my dismay
