Most of the ornamentation seemed to be there, except for variations in attack. The piece was in the saba makam, which is a very strange scale with lots of notes microtonally different from Western music - in its commonest form it even has a flattened octave, and the upper octave doesn't reproduce the lower one.
In Turkish notation, you state the makam in words at the top of the score and use a microtonal key signature as well. Saba is the makam that works least well for (it probably goes back at least 2000 years and its pitch set doesn't exactly fit the standard modern Turkish theoretical model), but a literal reproduction of that score would still be pretty close.
