Actually, The Holy Modal Rounders planned to change their name to The Moray Eels when they went electric. Hence the title of the LP, THE MORAY EELS EAT THE HOLY MODAL ROUNDERS. The band consisted of Stampfel, Weber, Sam Shepard(drums), John Wesley Annis(bass), and Richard Tucker(piano).
