Top of the page in the Oxford English Dictionary-

When looking up a word in the Oxford English Dictionary, my eye often is caught by the word at the top of the page; usually something I have never heard, and forget soon afterward.

Opening in the A's and turning a few pages:

and by the time one gets to Z....
