I put on a few pounds, but not all from Thanksgiving. It had been creeping back for a while. But I have resolved to do better, beginning today. Most of the turkey went into the freezer, the sweet potatoes had no sugar added (just cinnamon & nutmeg), and the pie went home with my friend. I only keep sugar-free candies in the dish, and I've added peppermints for the holidays.
I have decided not to bake a dozen kinds of cookies this year. I will fix spiced or seasoned nuts, and give those as gifts.
