Shane has deep-sixed more snowmobiles by going through thin ice on frozen lakes and survived than anyone else in Canada! And he didn't own one of them either. He also managed to sink an O.P.P. speedboat once by running it onto some rocks off Manitoulin Island. These exploits have not gone unnoticed (specially by the police) and have gained Shane a certain measure of notoriety in the vicinity of basically Sudbury to Spanish to Massey to Blind River, perhaps even as far west as Sault Ste-Marie.
