Why do you suppose that my very own brother sent me TWO SMLE bayonets, one knife type and one spike type? I don't own, and don't particularly want, an SMLE. Shucks, they don't even have handles so you can use them as knives.

I suppose I could use the spike bayonet on a stick to roast weenies as Amos and LH sit around the campfire beating off and making odd noises in the night.

This is not the oddest thing my brother has ever sent me, but ranks right up near the top three or four.
