Most packaged salted nuts have too much salt. Get the unsalted in the bakery section and do your own. Posted elsewhere, but again-
2 cups unsalted nuts (pecans or almonds with skin on) 1 teaspoon lemon juice (or juice one lemon) 1/2 to 2/3 teaspoon sugar 1 teaspoon salt
In a bowl, mix juice, salt and sugar. After this dissolves, add nuts. Mix thoroughly (I use a fork) until nuts are coated. On cookie sheet, spread the coated nuts. Bake at 120 C for 15 minutes or so- dry or brown to suit your taste. When cool, store in sealed container (I reuse jars with screw lid).
Try this with a small amount, adjust to suit your taste and your oven.
