The deaths and funerals have continued, and a sore shoulder from over-zealous Dog Worlding and a new (thicker) pillow have combined to put a real monkey wrench in my usual "stewardship of orderly householding"-- the laundry (incl funeral wear) is really piling up. But at least it's CLEAN laundry!

OK, so it's on my couch in big boxes the chickens had come in, because the laundry baskets are ALSO all full from the LAST round of funerals, but I have enough shoulder-recovery to pull out one item at a time to wear it, and the tree we never put away is lit and rotating prettily beside me, and I am SURE this laundry-slide will stop once I wear all the stuff in the boxes and re-wash it. It FEELS like serious backsliding, but.... it doesn't have to be..... right?

COFFEE. Hardi bought COFFEE. The extra bedtime meds from last night WILL wear off, AND love the occasional coffee indulgence. Now what was that rule.... oh yeah, crap, I have to eat first. OK, OK, maybe there's some Italian sausage left in the freezer. Or there's always chicken! :~) Hm, the turkey roaster's still sitting on the kitchen floor....... NOT a spare laundry tub!!! :~) I wonder how many chix it will hold?
