If you have worked or will work Christmas--

1. what do you love about doing that,
2. what have been some of the neat things that have happened that probably would not have, otherwise?
3. Please share that first, and then share what the work was/is.

I'll start.

1. I love the individuals (I'm thinking of a doen specific ones right now) I have already met this season who exemplify rural-small town life, humanity, and Grace at their bests.

2. I would not have known that Owego, NY is a great day-off place to go on the way to this year's "thanks for working Christmas" gift project, which came to me this AM, which I KNOW will totally delight this year's recipients: Porn Sauce (sweet chili sauce) for some of the best waitresses who serve amazing and unique food they seldom get to eat and that inspires their own dorm cooking!

3. Funerals, mostly, this season, in a busy parish!
