Was astounded to see a tremendous bird pass overhead today. I noticed its shadow first, looked up, and saw something the size of a 747...well, no, bigger than that. It was silently winging its way overhead in a westerly direction. Fortunately, I was able to snap a picture with my digital camera, and here it is:
