I have three bottles of lotion. One in my kitchen, one in one of our bathrooms, and one in my purse. I have them in two locations in the house for convenience, and the one in my purse is so I can use it when I'm not at home. They're all the same kind of lotion.

My guess about your wife's many lotions has to do with the variety of scents they probably have, along with possibly a different function some of them have (exfoliating, night lotion, hand lotion, foot lotion, etc.). Some women like having a lot of different scents around.

But to answer your question, yes, sometimes our skin gets very dry. Mine gets so dry, it cracks open and bleeds.
