My grandfather in Plymouth used to sing a song called The Mutley Miners. He was about 80 and sang it in the '60s. It was unacompanied to a tradition tune. There was no mining in Pymouth, Devon, although Mutley was a district there. The song may have originated elsewhere as he worked in several dockyards in the UK and Ireland. I would love to get the words, tune and history of the song.
