I hate the scents they use in cosmetic products, so I use a kind that isn't scented, and is as free of industrial chemicals as possible. It's the only kind that doesn't cause my skin more problems than it solves.

The best solution I have ever found for keeping my skin healthy, though, was to spin yarn using wool with the lanolin still in it. During the times when I was doing that, my hands were the smoothest and most crack-free they've ever been since I was a child.
