i remember the process of putting lotion on before bed then wearing gloves to keep it from rubbing off (what keeps it from rubbing off on the gloves?)

and spinning in the grease is also a great way to treat your hands to a layer of lanolin.

these days with the recommended hand washing for flu prevention
and the prevalence of alcohol based hand sanitizers, there is more
need for moisturizers.

as a sort of bonding ritual, for my daughter's wedding, a bunch of
us...her brides maids and others, went for pedicures...which included lotion...ahh...what a luxury!!

we could write another chapter on lip balm, chap stick, and remember that Lip Ivo? and that does not even include lip coloring stuff, just moitening...mostly oils and bees waxes i think...i avoid petroleum ones..i have to keep a tube in my pocket, purse, vehicle, gear bag, and sometimes guitar case (in a zip lock bag so as to not melt onto instrument)
