I use "Udder Cream" for my hands after a session of quilting, it's great stuff. Quilt shops sell it but I have seen it in other places too. At least - I will when I can get back to quilting, my mending broken arm isn't quite there yet.

Most of my working life was spent in libraries, there nothing like all that book dust and grime to dry out the skin on one's hands, then of course we were often washing our hands because of the aforementioned dust and grime too. Every one of us had a bottle of lotion on our desks and some even had a spare in their desk drawer.
