It is common to say to a French baby 'fais dodo' (translates as 'go to sleep') as in the song 'fais dodo Colin mon p'tit frere, fais dodo t'auras du gateau'. It makes sense with the rest of the words. What doesn't make sense is the separation of dodo in do! do!
