As Lizzie rightly points out, this Saturday (12th) sees the penultimate
Live & Local Event for 2009 at The Boar's Yed in Middlewich, in the form of the folk session, held all the year round on the second Saturday of the month.

On Wednesday 16th it's the final L&L event for this year, as the Salt Town Poets present 'Poetry & Pints', which also doubles as an Open Mic Night. This is also all the year round on the third Wednesday of the month. Manchester singer/songwriter and cheeky chappie Dom Collins is dropping in to plug his new album 'Cheers'.

Incidentally, The Salt Town Poets are celebrating 15 years of existence in 2010.
