Please do come and support this very worthwhile benefit gig this Friday 11th for two hardworking local musicians who lost their home to arson this year....

This month's Bath Folk Club will be a Christmas Special and fund raiser for helping two local musicians to help re-build their house-boat. It'll be at The Widcombe Social Club, Bath, Friday 11th December 2009. 7.30pm start.

After a year of absolutely brilliant gigs to finish off this will feature the cream of the crop of local talent. All the proceeds from this concert will be put towards helping local musicians Cris Piersné and Nel Farrelly of the band Malarchy build a new narrow boat after their previous one (their home), was destroyed in an unprovoked arson attack. We really hope that lots of people will come and support this worthwhile cause.

The line up is looking really exciting and it will include a collaboration of great players from the local folk scene such as James Fagan, Leon Hunt, Josh Clark and Alan Burton.

Also on the Bill is Malarchy, Angel Ridge, Aly George, Amadou Daigne, Mac Seka and Rob Winder That's seven acts all for a mere £6 or £5 Concessions.

Also there will be a big Raffle and a print up for Auction from Local Artist Zoe Stevenson.
