I understand, MAG, violence against women infuriates me as well. In Bob's case, I do not regard him as a major offender in that sense, just someone who lost it on maybe one occasion. Bob has done enough wonderful things in his life that I can pardon him for that. It could happen to anyone. It's the repeat offenders who worry me. Jackson Browne hit his wife too, but I do not regard him as a monster. I have had two girlfriends I could happily have killed on the odd occasion, but fortunately I have very good self control...more so than many guys (and girls) I have known.
