Ever since I read the term "lurking" in an earlier thread, I've felt kind of peculiar about going into the Mudcat. I have this odd feeling that someone out there knows I'm reading threads but not always adding my two cents. It sounds like one is a "stalker." I've played and sung folk and blues for 30+ years, but I'm realizing that my knowledge of that genre is miniscule compared to that of individuals like Art and Joe, whose threads and thread comments I thoroughly enjoy. So, for me, it's an education that's been a long time coming. I do add a comment here and there and will continue to do so, although not as often as others. I do, therefore, find the term "lurking" ugly.
