However, key traits which are there in all cases include those which you have referred to.

Just keep reading about it and learning, and at the same time teach yourself to understand that bad behaviour exhibited against you has no bearing on you and (while this is easier said than done) it should not be something that upsets you.

This does not mean that you have to suffer it, quite the contrary.
