Your reading history sounds very similar to mine, SINSULL. I also became quite nearsighted. It may have been the reading, but I don't think so. I think it was nervous strain, because I had no trouble with my eyesight until I'd been in school a few years, and I'd been reading a lot before I ever went to school. School was a place where I experienced a great deal of nervous strain.
