Hey gnu .... I haven't a clue what doctor's are paid here or anywhere else. From what I understand N.B. doctor's are rewarded quite well compared to the rest of the country.

But when it comes to working in triage I will gladly allow my tax $dollars$ go to tnem no matter what the cost .... in triage (a war zone quite literally) they are understaffed, work long hours, put up with verbal and physical abuse from drunks and junkies, ... and through all this they are the most professional humane group of people I have ever seen. These people are the shining star of Canada's health Care system.

When it comes to the life of some child or child's parent rushed in from a car accident, when it comes to the life of my wife rushed in while suffering a heart attack, or the bringing back to life of my best friend after he had flat lined it .... these people who work in emergency deserve every tax $dollar$ spent and hell pay them more as far as I can see .... every life saved is worth it.
