MacDonald's is an amazing charitable foundation providing housing and medical help for children and their families. They can't be held responsible for what some moron franchisee says but they have to respond.

Many years ago I worked for the Girl Scouts. One scout leader who was an incredible idiot was threatening to sue the organization because a little girl from her troop saw her in a local supermarket and said "Didn't we have fun camping. You were laughing like you were drunk."
Her sterling reputation had been tarnished. This same numbnuts appeared in a TV interview pushing belly dancing classes. She (middle-aged and showing it) was jiggling around on TV for all to see but a little girl's silly comment was fodder for a lawsuit. She actually got the local church involved - another bunch of numbnuts.
