Fionn, Quite right on my Independent spelling - bad habit I have like wanting to spell definite as definate (also I become sloppy on the keyboard).

Yes, I know that the Guardian is published down in London these days but it did start as the Manchester Guardian, and the world summary edition is called the Manchester Guardian Weekly.
