As a commited Independent reader, the scary bit is that the Telegraph outsells the Independent by at least 5 to 1.

I'm scared that a paper whose editoral content I almost always agree with only sells 200 000 copies, whereas other papers with unpleasant and ill-informed views, sell over a million....
