Even scarier Ed, the Daily Herald failed to survive with sales of 2m, when the FT was making a healthy profit from 180,000. The 180,000 of course had terrific spending power, so the FT actually outdid the Herald on the most critical income stream, advertising revenue. I'm not saying there's a better way, but this is not my idea of a free press.
