Oh... BTW... the business mgr tried to get me to finance the truck thru the Bank of Montreal. The dealership has a promotion where they pay the first month. He said, we give you a cheque for the first month and then, come month two, you pay it off and save almost that amount.
I said, well, if it's that good a deal, just take that off the purchase price now as I am paying you cash. Doesn't work that way. No can do. Sooooo... same deal apply to my bank? Nope.
Why not? Read the fine print. I did not... I just knew sommat was wrong with this guy trying to give me money but saying he couldn't give me money. Especially when he said, over and over, "It's YOUR decision."
I shoulda smiled profusely and looked around and then asked where the hidden camera was hidden.
