In Canada there is also CARPROOF....I believe CARFAX is more leaning toward the USA.

If it's used, check out the vehicle and year in Lemonaid. It lists most of the recalls and problems people have with that year and model. You don't even have to buy it....just look up the vehicle in a copy in book shop.
