Hard to believe we're coming out of the Oh-oh! decade (or, as one friend calls it: "the 'uh-ohs!'")

Dean: only in a virtual sense. Actually, most of those colors were generated by the computer when I saved a simple 15-pxl square design as a jpeg. In the compression, the computer generated a whole range of half- and half-half tones between the two I gave it. Then, I just selectively selected bits and enlarged, copied and pasted them.

It took some time, but none of that time was spent threading (or dropping and searching for) needles or pricking my fingers. Which is why I don't quilt in 3-D. ;-)
