Today's edition of Folk Roots/Folk Branches will include previews of the Ottawa Folk Festival (August 25-27 in Ottawa, Ontario)and KlezKanada (August 23-27 in Lantier, Quebec) and will feature songs by many of the artists who will be performing at the festivals.

We'll also have a musical tribute to the late Malvina Reynolds as we mark the 100th anniversary of her birth (August 23).

Time permitting, we'll have some more great music including debuts of new releases or reissues from the cast of Stan Rogers -- A Matter of Heart: the musical revue, the Gumboots, Scuttlebutt, Stephen Fearing, Doc Watson and Ramblin' Jack Elliott.
