it's a date, when you can make it over...

I remember playing the old L'Orignal jail ( the oldest working jail in Ontario at the time) on two "Noels" back to back.. well, some well meaning but largley self-serving bureaucrat from Hawkesbury decided to give me a plaque from the Attorney General's Office.. that was around about the next July ! So I didn't show up for that for some reason or other, and she got some vexed.. I thought it was funny.. so the following Christmas day, I go back to play and sing again... they still had the plaque at the jail... just dusted it off, literally, and we had our own little event...no photo-ops or Sandy Hill papparazzi... it was fun...ended up giving the award to Mama.. she was proud... see you soon.. glad you like the songs .. you are all in them somewhere...
