Excellent. I heard about it today. Steam was always better at dealing with snow, even the "wrong" type, and leaves on the line etc. Electric and diesel railcar traction is lightweight.

Though I always loved to see the sparks in the snow and frost when the shoe hit a patch of it. I remember emu's slipping up the hill but steam nearly always managed it even heavy freight.

Bring back steam and think of it as another way of getting rid of fossil fuels so we won't be tempted in the future!
