Well while reading all the above I have munched through half a bowl, probably a dozen or more, of Brazil nuts! Why?
Because they didn't need shelling. The shop said is was now illegal for them to sell them as the "Shells are poisonous"..What the F*** is that all about, if you can chew a Brazil nut shell you deserve to be poisoned. They are also much drier, not the same at all.
