I built shelves for the closet in this room to hold 12 copy paper boxes, and assorted smaller items, so that I will be able to organize some of the clutter which has been piling up on the floor. It was a struggle to get the shelves into the closet, requiring that I remove everything from a nearby bookshelf then move the bookshelf itself. This resulted in a temporarily cluttered hallway and kitchen counter.

I also made a small difference in the clutter in the carport and basement by using scraps of plywood and some surplus hardware to build a "treasure chest" for a young boy.
