Well, as usual Santa brought me several things off my Amazon wishlist so I listened to St Lonnie, Martin Simpson, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Miller Anderson Band, Count Basie, the Prairie Home Companion movie soundtrack and Ken Colyer.
Be very afraid: Herself (a glutton for punishment) bought me a guiro which is more portable than the washboard and thus might allow an old scraper like me to take it on holiday (along with the kazoo and spoons).
